Enjoy the discussion, articles and links below about technology integration. If you are looking for ways to integrate technology into your curriculum, I would love to help.
#Pencilchat
__Over the weekend the Twitter hash tag #pencilchat has provided many
educators a chance to show their sense of humor with an allegory related
to tech integration. Here are few examples:
- "If students become so heavily dependent upon pencils, they will never learn to boil berries to create their own medium." -Andy Losik, the 2009 Michigan tech educator of the year
- "I refuse to use pencils in my classroom until manufacturers figure out a way to limit what students can write with them." -Canadian Teacher Erin Ochoa
- "Didn't take students long to figure out how to bypass the school's paper filters and start drawing games. Pencil ban imminent" -Andrew Schwab, IT Director and Teacher, Merced, CA
- "Totally amazed at young people, without training, pick up a pencil & use it creatively!" -Chris Woldhuis, ICT Educator, Sydney Australia
