January 2013
Happy New Year!
With the start of the new year, many of us have created resolutions for 2013. In that spirit, the theme for this ASD Tech Tip newsletter will be "5 Resolutions for Technology Integration in the Classroom". Whether you consider yourself a high end tech user, middle of the road, or non-tech savvy, see if you can adopt some of the following resolutions to increase technology integration in your classroom.
1. I will incorporate Project Based Learning into my curriculum in 2013.

4. I will use Skype in my classroom in 2013.

Whether you are Skyping someone in Dubai or across the hall, Skype is an awesome tool to explore resources beyond your classroom walls.

5. I will use digital media to create visuals in my classroom in 2013.
Using web 2.0 tools to create classroom visuals is a fantastic way to give your students a digital connection to content. The videos below are sites that I have spotlighted over the last year that do an excellent job of displaying digital content.

Other web 2.0 tools for visuals: Word Cloud Generators: wordle.net, tagxedo.com Visual Search Engines: Pearltrees.com, Oolone.com |
