Guided Access?
The new iOS 6 update includes a really cool feature called "Guided Access". The video below will show you how you can use this feature to give students access to only one app. I think this could be a really useful tool to guarantee that students who are working independently are on the app you choose.

This summer a few classrooms in the high school had walls painted with IDEA Paint to create collaborative spaces. The video below does an excellent job exploring how writable spaces can transform learning.

The ideas shown in the video really doesn't have a lot to do with IDEA Paint, it has more to do with giving your students a collaborative space.
What does this have to do with technology integration? Classrooms that foster collaboration promote 21st century skills. Using technology as a classroom tool is much easier in a 21st century classroom. |
